2FA on Login security feature
EBANQ has added an additional layer of security a the login stage by offering end-users and administrators a core feature called Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) on Login.
This strengthens security and reduces fraud by incorporating ‘something the customer has’ into the user flow. This additional layer of security requires the entry of a security code in addition to the username and password in order to gain access to their profile and account(s).
The code or TOTP (Time-based One-time Password) can be generated using Google Authenticator or any other compatible app such as Authy, Microsoft Authenticator or FreeOTP. There is no additional charge for this feature and it is now available by default with any option of the EBANQ system.
